Our affordable hives for wild honeybees

We want to help Britain’s honeybees to thrive. With the lack of natural habitats, we’ve created an affordable and practical bee hive that could host a colony of wild honeybees for many years to come!

So if you’ve been wondering how you could make a positive impact on helping wild honeybees, which in turn, helps everyone (don’t forget that honeybees are our most important pollinator when it comes to growing food!), please read on…

We have written about why it’s important to help honeybees, and with our newly designed affordable beehive, we can now prove that they love it!

We have installed a hive at our HQ in Surrey, placing it under a barn above head height. Scout bees arrived to check it out, and soon enough, a swarm arrived. We are now seeing pollen being taken in which generally means that there is a queen bee in situ, and the hive is doing well.

We have also recently installed 2 hives in Hertfordshire, and within an hour, there were scout bees checking out the hive, and a swarm arrived the next morning!

Option 2 - Order an affordable hive for wild honeybees (£200)

Option 3 - Pre-register for our one-day workshop to make a hive (woodworking skills required). Materials will be provided, and you will be shown how to build a hive to install at home. This is a practical workshop suited to individuals that enjoy woodwork.
