I Want To Say Thank You

In less than a week, my team and I will be commencing our crowdfunding campaign. Our aim is simple. We need to raise launch funds so that we can implement our best-in-class, multi-species, pet adoption platform, PetRescue UK and Ireland.

Before our campaign goes live, I want to thank everyone (too many of you to individually name) who have, from a distance, supported this idea along its journey, and I’d also like to say a special thank you to those who have directly contributed to the development of our campaign; in particular, our Charity Buddy team members Pete, Nathan, Keith, Adam, Sally, and Marlies, our friends at PetRescue Australia, and of course, the organisations that have helped us prepare for our campaign, Quadrant, and A Digital Marketer. Thanks also to animal welfare advocate, Peter Egan, for publicly supporting our aims to compete with Gumtree and alike.

PetRescue UK and Ireland is so much more than just a technology solution to the problem of outdated adoptable pet finding. PetRescue UK and Ireland is underpinned by our commitment to animal welfare, and as part of Charity Buddy (registered charity 1189284), we will insist on animal welfare standards being met before any organisation may use our platform. Our platform will also host useful information to help the public care for their pets more appropriately. This information will come from the relevant welfare organisations that have been striving to uplift the standards of pet care for all species.

We have been speaking to animal charities and rescue centres both large and small, and we’ve had great feedback to date. We haven’t reached out to all of the animal welfare organisations that we’d like to collaborate with yet, but that’s primarily because we need to make sure we can fully deliver this solution before getting everyone excited about it.

If you’d like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to contact me, and in the meantime, wish us luck!  You can follow our progress on our social media sites Facebook, Twitter and Instagram .

Please feel free to share our plans with your animal loving friends and contacts. Thank you!
